Canadian NFL wide receiver Chase Claypool attended an NHL game on Thursday night between the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames, and wasn't afraid to admit what team he was rooting for.

The 23-year-old spoke to the fans when the game was 7-0, and had some fun at the expense of the Flames, who came into the contest on a 10-game winning streak.

«Seven nothing is a touch down score, and I just wanted to say the Calgary Flames suck so bad!»

As you can imagine, the arena erupted into cheers immediately after. While it was both a fun and harmless moment, perhaps Claypool doesn't realize that the Canucks trail the Flames by 10 points in the standings, despite having played three more games. Despite the wide point gap between them, however, Thursday night's game was all Canucks as they ended up walking away with a 7-1 victory.
