The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee confirmed to the media on Saturday that a noise complaint was made against the men's hockey team in the Olympic village during a late-night party.

The complaint led to a conversation between the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and USA Hockey, but no one was kicked out of the Olympic village and thankfully, no damage was reported.

"We hold Team USA athletes to very high standards of personal conduct," the USOPC said in a statement. "We have spoken to USA Hockey leadership, affirmed those expectations and can confirm that athletes will remain in the village until their scheduled departures."

Earlier in the week, the United States saw their hopes at winning an Olympic medal end as they were defeated in the quarter-finals, in a shootout, against the eventual bronze medalists, Slovakia. The United States has now failed to medal at the last three Olympic Games, with their last one coming in 2010 when they brought home silver.
