Patrick Marleau's son nearly kidnapped, saved by Louisiana family

The Marleau family nearly had a tragic incident during the holidays, as Patrick and Christina's son Brody was nearly kidnapped during a stay at a hotel. Christina Marleau went to Twitter to explain the incident in detail and offer her gratitude to the family that saved their son.

The incident reportedly occurred when Brody returned to the pool to obtain a pair of sunglasses he had forgotten. A woman (unidentified) started following him and asking him odd questions trying to get closer to young boy. Soon after, the woman was reaching out to Marleau's son trying to coax him into coming with her and her partner. Another family saw this happening and came to the rescue just in time.

The family that rescued him was the Headlam family, from Louisiana. The mom, Jessica, and the father saved Brody before anything worse could happen, and Christina could not be more thankful for their actions.

The former Sharks legend's wife was extremely upset with the attempted kidnappers (as any parent would be), and she let them have it.

«When Brody called, we rushed down to him. When I saw the woman who tried to grab him at the bar, I let her know that cops had been called, hotel security was watching her and she needs to leave. Meanwhile, Mrs. Headlam, unbeknownst to me, was already grabbing security as well.»

Everyone will surely be happy that Brody was alright due to a family that was watching out for others just out of the goodness of their hearts, almost like guardian angels.
