The AHL has announced that Juuso Valimaki has been suspended for abusing an official. During a game against the Ontario Reign this weekend, Valimaki was involved in some pushing and shoving along the boards with a couple of other players. While the official was attempting to hold him back, Valimaki pushed him and was given a game misconduct. In the AHL, abusing an official carries an automatic three-game suspension. Here's the video. The shove occurs around the 40 second mark. It is hardly noticeable, but was apparently enough to get the league's attention.

This was Valimaki's first game since January 9th when he suffered an injury in another game against Ontario.
