According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Buffalo Sabres have placed goaltender Aaron Dell on waivers on Saturday afternoon.

Dell, 32, is supposed to serve the first game of his three game suspension tonight when the Sabres take on the Arizona Coyotes. It's unclear if tonight's game still counts towards his suspension or if it will start when/if the Sabres call him back up from Rochester.

In 12 games this season, Dell has a record of 1-8-1 with a 4.03 G.A.A., and an .893 save percentage.

The Sabres currently have a bit of a goaltending dilemma. Malcolm Subban, Dustin Tokarski and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen are all injured, Dell is suspended, now on waivers, and Michael Houser is in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol. Tokarski and Craig Anderson were on the ice for practice this morning and the team has announced that Anderson will start tonight.

In other waivers news, Edmonton Oilers forward Colton Sceviour cleared waivers and has been assigned to the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.
