The Edmonton Oilers recently signed troubled forward, Evander Kane, and it seems that head coach Dave Tippett has figured out where to slot him into the lineup.

According to The Athletic's Daniel Nugent Bowman, Kane was skating on the top line with Connor McDavid and Kailer Yamamoto. Here is what the entire lineup looked like.

Kane-McDavid-Yamamoto
Foegele-Draisaitl-Puljujarvi
Hyman-RNH-Kassian
Shore-McLeod-Ryan

Nurse-Bouchard
Keith-Ceci
Koekkoek-Barrie

Skinner

Kane will likely see his stats inflate due to playing with either McDavid or Draisaitl, but there is no denying that he has the talent of a top notch winger in the NHL. Kane is a versatile player that looks like he could play on any of the first three lines on the team.

The Oilers had been sliding a bit in the standings lately, as they only have 44 points in 39 games which is good for sixth in the Pacific Division. The team is only 3-5-2 in their past ten games and are looking for Kane to spark the team.
