Marc Bergevin is once again employed in the NHL

After being fired as general manager by the Montreal Canadiens a little over a month ago, Marc Bergevin is back in the game. The LA Kings have announced that Bergevin has been hired as a Senior Advisor to the General Manager.

It has long been noted that Kings' President Luc Robitaille and Bergevin have been friends for a long time and there were even rumours of Bergevin joining LA before he was fired by Montreal as his contract was up at the end of this season.

Bergevin was named GM of the Montreal Canadiens in May of 2012, lasting until November 28th, 2021. The team had its up and downs during his tenure, but his last full season with the organization brought them their most success, going all the way to the Stanley Cup final.
