Despite playing against a big time rival crowd in the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby made a very classy gesture to a fan by giving him a puck during warmups.

As it turns out, it wasn't just any fan he was giving it to, but Brian Page. For those who may not remember, Page, who is just 18 years old, was paralyzed during a hockey game after taking a hit during a game in November of 2020. The young man was set to play in the North American Hockey League for the 2020-21 season, and many believed he had the potential to not only play for a major college, but be a possible NHL draft pick.

This move from Crosby proves that despite Flyers fans despising him due to the Penguins-Flyers rivalry, he truly is a genuine person. It appears the good deed may have resulted in some good luck for him as well, as he recorded two assists in a 6-2 win on Thursday night.
