NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly told Sportsnet 590 radio on Monday afternoon that he doesn't expect that the league will have to postpone many more games for Canadian teams.

The reason being is that the NHL is running out of time when it comes to rescheduling games with the regular season still expected to conclude on Friday, April 29th.

"I wouldn't say we're at that point definitely yet but I would say we're basically there," Daly said. "I don't expect to see a lot of Canadian home dates further moved."

Daly added, "(The schedule) is being constantly updated and amended. We probably have a little bit of cushion remaining but not a whole lot."

Since December 13th, nearly 100 games have been postponed, many of them including Canadian teams. Some of those games were scheduled for this month but due to attendance restrictions in almost all the provinces, the NHL has postponed games likely for revenue reasons.
