The New York Rangers announced on Thursday that they've agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with goaltender Dylan Garand.

Garand, 19, was selected in the fourth round, 103rd overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers. The Victoria, British Columbia native plays in the Western Hockey League for the Kamloops Blazers.

In 19 games this season, Garand has a record of 15-4-0 with a 1.85 G.A.A., a .932 save percentage, and two shutouts.

Garand is currently with Team Canada at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship for the second consecutive year. His only appearance at last year's tournament was during Canada's 16-2 rout of Germany, where he came off the bench, allowing one goal on five shots.
