Alex Ovechkin is definitely one of the most passionate guys on the ice night after night. The Washington Capitals star has no issue telling any of his teammates when they've done something wrong. That was on full display Friday night after Daniel Sprong gave up a scoring chance to the Winnipeg Jets while the Caps were on the powerplay. You can clearly see Ovechkin yelling at Sprong on the bench, telling him what he did wrong. It appears he says "Spronger, go to the f***ing goal!"

It wasn't long before all was forgiven though, as Sprong would score Washington's second goal of the game in the second period while on the ice with Ovi. Sprong had a chance to pass to the Great 8, who was right in front of the net, but decided to wire it home himself. Ovechkin didn't mind at all, hugging Sprong and giving him an "atta boy" after the goal. Washington was playing short-handed, with five regulars in COVID protocol and defenceman Matt Irwin playing forward.
