Los Angeles Kings forward Brendan Lemieux always aims to get under the skin of the opposition, and that's exactly what happened on Saturday night when the Kings took on the Minnesota Wild.

Lemieux scored the go-ahead goal at the midway point of the 3rd period to put the Kings up 2-1, but rather than celebrating with his team and making his way back to the bench, Lemieux elected to skate past the Wild bench for a bit of taunting. Wild forward Marcus Foligno didn't like that one bit and squirted water at Lemieux as he passed by.

Following the game, Foligno was asked about the play, and he did not have anything nice to say about Lemieux, the LA Kings' resident pest.

"Just him being him," said Foligno following his team's 2-1 loss. "Scores one goal and then comes by our bench and thinks he's Sidney Crosby out there. That stuff bothers ya. It sucks, it's so late in the game. You'd like to see a response but he's not really out there anymore. So it's just one of those things where it's just you gotta forget about that guy. He's an agitator, and not a very good one at that."

Well, all due respect to Foligno, who knows a thing or two about getting under the skin of the opposition, but if Lemieux gets on your nerves, technically that does make him a good agitator.

The Wild and Kings don't meet again until April 10th, 2022, so it's not as though Foligno will get his opportunity to feed Lemieux his medicine in the near future. If he wants retribution, he'll have to wait.
