As far as outbursts against officials is concerned, this one was pretty weak. But, rules are rules I guess, and Tomas Jurco will serve a one game suspension for shoving an official during a game on Monday. Jurco, who was drafted by Detroit in 2011 and played more than 200 games in the NHL before moving on to Astana Barys, was just involved in a faceoff when he tried to go up the boards. As he was doing so, the linesman, who was skating backwards, ran into him, stopping him from getting into the play. It likely would have been fine if it had ended there, but Jurco seemed annoyed and decided to give the official a shove in the back with his stick. It wasn't hard by any means, but the KHL's rules state you cannot deliberately apply physical force in any form towards an official.
