Senators winger and captain Brady Tkachuk was apparently bitten by Kings winger Brendan Lemieux during Saturday night's contest. The two got into it after a scrum near the net, and during the end of the fight, Lemieux appeared to chomp down on Tkachuk's hand.

The altercation was caused after Tkachuk shoved Kings forward Blake Lizotte near the net with about six minutes remaining in the game. Lemieux then jumped into the scrum to defend his teammate and the two brawled on the ice, tangling up a few officials in the process.

Tkachuk expressed his anger to the media after the game, and rightfully so.

"This is the one time I'm going to answer this," Tkachuk said. «It was the most gutless thing somebody can ever do. This guy, you can ask any one of his teammates, nobody ever wants to play with him. This guy is a bad guy and a bad teammate; he focuses on himself all the time."

«It's outrageous. Kids don't even do that anymore. He's a complete brick head. He's got nothing up there,» Tkachuk said.

No one should really expect a different reaction from the star winger, as many people would surely be just as upset. Tkachuk was not done after calling Lemieux a brick head, as he had a little more to say regarding his opinion on the Kings winger.

«I think it was the most gutless thing anyone could ever do,» Tkachuk added.

There is some bad blood in the past between the two families, as their dads, Keith and Claude fought each other in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. The next meeting between the Senators and Kings will surely be a fun one, but hopefully there will be less teeth action.
