There are plenty of players in the NHL that you'd choose to try a Michigan move during a game. Chris Krieder of the New York Rangers likely isn't one of them. He came awfully close to landing it, though in a game against the Boston Bruins on Friday.

Krieder picked up the puck with his stick blade behind the net and went for it. He hit the post, and the puck actually sailed along the goal line, but never crosses it. Krieder and his teammates thought he had it even though the goal light never went on. The replay would show the puck never crossed the line. So close!
