Panthers sign forward Ryan Lomberg to multi-year extension

According to CapFriendly, the Florida Panthers have signed forward Ryan Lomberg to a two-year, one-way contract extension worth $1.6 million ($800,000 AAV). The contract will see Lomberg earn $775,000 in 2022-23, and $825,000 in 2023-24.

Lomberg, 26, signed with the Panthers in October 2020, and impressed fans in South Florida with his checking style of game, especially in their first round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

In ten games this season, the Richmond Hill, Ontario native has recorded three points (one goal, two assists), nineteen penalty minutes, and is a plus-four.
