After yet another loss on Wednesday night, the Vancouver Canucks hit the ice on Thursday for practice, and it appears not even that went well. According to The Athletic's Thomas Drance, the team couldn't get a 2-on-0 going properly.

"Some confusion setting up a drill at Canucks practice, as [coach] Travis Green discussed it at length with [Brock] Boeser," said Drance.

"Appears to be a straightforward 2-on-0 drill, but the wrong mix of players was in various ends. J.T. Miller could be heard yelling, 'We don't know what we're doing!'," he added.

Meanwhile, there have been rumours for a couple of weeks now that the dressing room is starting to split amid frustrations with losing. Don Taylor and Rick Daliwhal added to that on Thursday, indicating that factions are forming within the team.

The split so far has concentrated on an apparent rift between J.T. Miller and Bo Horvat. According to Taylor and Daliwhal, veteran members of the team led by Miller are unhappy with the way Horvat and some of the younger members of the Canucks are playing and their apparent unwillingness to try to do things better. It's safe to say that things are a mess for the Canucks right now and drastic measures may need to be taken to turn things around.
