New Jersey Devils defenseman P.K. Subban is a player who has, for a good chunk of his career, known where the line is and has mostly stayed on the right side of it. This season however, he has crossed it on multiple occasions - and his latest offence may earn him a meeting with the NHL's Department of Player Safety.

Subban has seemingly been slew-footing players right, left and center this season, beginning with Rangers forward Ryan Reaves. A pattern began to form when Subban did it again a few weeks later to Flames winger Milan Lucic.

His latest infraction came on Sunday in New York, when Subban caught Rangers forward Sammy Blais with a nasty slew-foot, causing an injury. You can see the play below.

Rangers bench boss Gerard Gallant could not provide an update on the health status of Blais following the game, but he certainly didn't shy away from drawing attention to the fact that Subban has established a bit of a pattern.

"it didn't look good to me," the veteran coach said of the dangerous play following the game. "A lot like the Reaves one that I saw."

Subban has already been fined twice by the league for this same infraction. How many more times will he be allowed to potentially derail another player's season before the Department of Player Safety intervenes?
