On Tuesday, results of the Chicago Blackhawks' sexual assault investigation were released, which led to the resignation of general manager Stan Bowman.

Among those apart of the management group at the time (2010) was current Winnipeg Jets general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff, who was an assistant general manager for Chicago. Cheveldayoff was involved in a meeting in May 2010 with other members of the organization including Bowman, and Joel Quenneville to discuss the allegations brought to their attention about their video coach Brad Aldrich.

Following the conclusion of the press conference, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman said he is planning to meet with Cheveldayoff and Quenneville to discuss their roles in the matter.

Tonight, Cheveldayoff released a statement via the Winnipeg Jets' public relations Twitter account.

"I have shared everything I know about this matter as part of my participation in Jenner & Block's investigation. That is reflected in today's investigation report." Cheveldayoff said.

He added, "Further, I look forward to my discussion with with Commissioner Bettman at the soonest possible date to continue to cooperate fully with the National Hockey League. I will reserve any further comment until after that conversation has been conducted."

The 51-year-old only spent two seasons as an assistant general manager with Chicago before joining the Winnipeg Jets as their first general manager following relocation from Atlanta.
