In the wake of the damning report into the allegations of sexual assault and the treatment of the alleged victim afterwards, Stan Bowman has stepped down as general manager of the Chicago Blackhawks. NOw comes word that he's also out as GM of the Men's Olympic Hockey team.

This shouldn't come as a huge surprise. If Bowman hadn't stepped down, he likely would have been removed anyway. It does, however, put the team in a bit of a precarious spot, with the 2022 Winter Olympics just a few months away and no general manager in place for player selections that have yet to be made.

Bowman isn't the only one out in Chicago, as reports are also confirming that no executives who were privy to the information relating to Aldrich's offense will be with the organization going forward.

The investigation has spanned across several months with 139 witnesses interviewed, including current and former Blackhawks players.

It was also confirmed that John McDonough, Joel Quenneville, Jay Blunk and Kevin Cheveldayoff were all involved in meetings relating to the assault and that Aldrich was allowed by the team to take part in championship celebrations with the team while "John Doe" was present.
