You have to think it's put up or shut up time for Alex Galchenyuk. The 27-year-old forward has played for five different teams over the last three seasons after being drafted 3rd overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2012. The free agent has now had to sign a professional tryout for training camp just to get a shot at staying in the NHL.

Galchenyuk will join the Arizona Coyotes on a PTO, with the hope that it will work into a contract for the 2021-22 season. He's played for the Coyotes before after being traded there by Montreal for Max Domi in 2018.

Galchenyuk has played a total of 583 regular season games in the NHL, recording 140 goals and 333 points. While he can add offense, Galchenyuk's defensive abilities are definitely suspect and it can make him a liability on the ice.
