The Winnipeg Jets have locked up defenceman Logan Stanley to a two-year contract worth $1.8 million (900k AAV) according to Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff.

Stanley, 23, was Winnipeg's first round pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. After spending the prior two years in the AHL, Stanley finally made his NHL debut this season and stuck with the team for the whole year. In 37 games, the Waterloo, Ontario native had 4 points (1 G, 4 A), 26 penalty minutes, and was a +13. He added 3 points (2 G, 1 A) in eight games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
