The trades continue to trickle in on Saturday afternoon as the New York Rangers have announced they've made a pair of deals with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Vegas Golden Knights.

In a tweet, the Rangers said they've acquired Barclay Goodrow from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Goodrow is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 28th. If the Rangers are unable to sign him before then, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston says there are teams prepared to offer him up to six years.

In 55 regular season games with Tampa Bay this season, Goodrow had 20 points (6 G, 14 A), 52 penalty minutes, and was a +16. In 18 playoff games, he recorded 6 points (2 G, 4 A), 26 penalty minutes, and was a +4, helping the Lightning win their second straight Stanley Cup. Goodrow was initially traded to Tampa for a 1st rounder.

In their second trade, the Rangers traded forward Brett Howden to the Vegas Golden Knights for a fourth round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, and defenceman Nick DeSimone.
