A coach of the Buffalo Bills NFL team has decided to call it quits and leave the team following their heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Kansas City Chiefs will head to the Super Bowl for a third-straight season with a win over Buffalo in the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs shut down Buffalo's playoff run for a second straight season.

Kansas City beat Buffalo in the divisional playoff matchup in last season's playoffs. Buffalo once again experienced a loss in the AFC title matchup this week.

To make Buffalo's loss even worse, they now have a new problem with a coaching opening on defense.

Scott Booker heading to New England

Buffalo's Scott Booker will sign with the New England Patriots, 247Sports' Matt Zenitz reports. Booker will join an old acquaintance in head coach for the Patriots, Mike Vrabel.

Booker signed with Buffalo last offseason after spending six years with the Tennessee Titans. Coaching nickel/slot corners, including Taron Johnson, Ja'Marcus Ingram, and Brandon Codrington, was one of his assignments.

Buffalo's secondary could not slow down Chiefs first-year receiver Xavier Worthy, who led all receivers with six for seven receptions for 85 yards and a TD.

These two teams will likely face off in 2025, and with Booker gone, Buffalo will have to have a strong replacement, as Buffalo's secondary will have to defend at its best when facing off with Kansas City's high-powered pass attack.

In the meantime, fans can turn their attention to the Super Bowl, which will be taking place on Sunday, February 9th, and will feature the Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles.
