NHL insider Chris Johnston revealed today that the New York Rangers are likely to continue selling players, most notably Chris Kreider.

The Rangers season continues to be a disaster as they are 3-7 over their last ten games, dropping out of the playoffs and into 5th place in the Metro Division.

The sell-off has already began as the team dealt their former captain to the Anaheim Ducks earlier this month.

The move was not completely surprising as Trouba had been involved in rumors for some time, but how it went down shocked many.

After being traded, Trouba revealed that the Rangers threatened to put him on waivers if he didn't accept a deal.

This has lead to a ton of turmoil and unrest in the team's locker room.

In fact, there are rumors now that the Rangers players are planning to intentionally sink the season to spite their general manager.

It appears as though Chris Drury is prepared to fight back though.

He has already made two shrewd moves with Trouba and Barclay Goodrow, and now another iconic Ranger could be next.

According to NHL insider Chris Johnston, the team plans on moving life-long Ranger Chris Kreider at some point this season.

In fact, Johnston has Kreider rated as his number one trade target this season.

Kreider has 10 goals and a single assist through 27 games this season.

He's played 842 career regular-season NHL games, all with the Rangers. He has 314 goals and 249 assists for 563 points with the team.

He is one of the most iconic members of the team, and a beloved figure within the fan base.

Trading him would send a big message to both the team and the fan base. Is Drury really prepared to make that move? Stay tuned to find out.
