The Kansas City Chiefs are the darlings of the NFL, and now star QB Patrick Mahomes is unhappy with the way they've been scheduled late in the season as they have been forced to play three games in just 11 days.

Patrick Mahomes has built himself into one of the top QB's in the entire NFL, and with all of the success he has had, his status in the league is certainly up there with some of the all time greats already.

While it takes great work to get to this level, it certainly comes with its perks, as many fans are quick to point out the favourable calls that he gets week in, week out, especially during the 2024 season.

Now, he has also expressed major frustration at the league, calling them out for their scheduling as the team are forced to play three games in 11 days, including a matchup on Christmas Day.

This report comes from Pro Football Talk, who notes that Mahomes believes this is unfair treatment and that it's 'not a good feeling' as the players look to recover late in the NFL season ahead of the playoffs.

Unfortunately for Mahomes and the Chiefs, they aren't the only teams to deal with this type of scheduling this season, with the Pittsburgh Steelers and other teams also going through this type of a schedule late in the year as the league looks to push marquee matchups late in the season.

Given the respect that Mahomes has around the league, it's unlikely that his complaints will lead to any type of discipline, but given how tough the NFL game is, hopefully this and other players making notes of the schedule will force the league into some changes to make it easier on the players late in the year.
