Amazing News for John Tortorella Involving the Incoming Four Nations Faceoff
One of the NHL's most revered, albeit controversial coaches, John Tortorella will now be joining Mike Sullivan on the bench for the Four Nations Faceoff.
It was confirmed yesterday that Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella will be joining Mike Sullivan on the bench for Team USA at the Four Nations Faceoff.

In a press conference last night, John Tortorella excited fans by confirming he will have his hand in helping Team USA win gold at the Four Nations Faceoff tournament, against Teams Canada, Sweden, and Finland.
Tortorella is no stranger to international competition; he helped the United States at the World Cup of Hockey in 2016. He is equally very familiar with Mike Sullivan, who served as his assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Lightning for two years, as well as an additional five years between New York and Vancouver.
While Tortorella generally isn't the biggest fan of the media, he was excited to share his thoughts on the reunion with Sullivan yesterday:
That's what kicked it over for me. Sully called, and when Sully calls, I'll do anything for that guy. He means that much to me."
He continued on by saying that in these final years of his career, at 66 years old, he is excited for a final opportunity to help represent his country.
Tortorella will have two players from his Philadelphia Flyers roster playing against him at the tournament, Travis Sanheim and Travis Konecny on team Canada. When asked how he would treat them, he made it very clear:
We will see if Tortorella can pull off a win for the USA at the tournament in Montreal and Boston in February.
