Today frustrating news has come out of the Minnesota Vikings training camp after young star wide receiver Jordan Addison suffered what looks to be a major injury.

The preseason for the NFL is in full swing and the Minnesota Vikings have entered a new era. Drafting Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy in the first round of the NFL Draft. Pairing him with wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. However, this afternoon all of those plans might have gone up in smoke.

Minnesota Vikings face several major injuries heading into the NFL season

Reports yesterday revealed that quarterback JJ McCarthy was dealing with a knee injury. During his surgery today it was found that he tore his MCL and the repair will keep him out for the season.
In addition to this already devastating news for the Minnesota Vikings things have only gotten worse today. Wide receiver Jordan Addison sustained a leg injury during practice. As a result of the injury, he was forced to be carted off the field.
The Minnesota Vikings continue to have absolutely brutal luck with injuries in recent years. Last season their franchise quarterback Kirk Cousins was injured and missed much of the season before leaving in free agency for the Atlanta Falcons.
With all of the injuries that have stacked up for the Minnesota Vikings in the past two seasons, one has to wonder if their training processes and medical staff will be getting reviewed. Either way, these losses will be massive for the Minnesota Vikings and could set back the entire future of their organization.
