After reports of her removal for inappropriate behavior, Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso has denied being banned from the 2024 Paris Olympic Village.

The 2024 Paris Olympics has become one of the most controversial topics around the world this summer. Outside of the vitriol and bigotry that emerged out of the fight between Imane Kelif and Angela Carini, triathlon events were held in part in the Seine, which had been closed just days ago due to E. Coli contamination. The Olympic committee moved forward with their initial plans, resulting in the illness of several players.
"Paris Olympic Games is an utter failureBillions of taxpayers' money was wasted on degeneracy

Days ahead of the triathlon events at the Paris Olympics, the water quality of the Seine has reached unsafe levels. The course familiarization day for triathlon athletes was canceled this morning because of the levels of E. coli in the river."
However, one of the latest controversies came from a different athletic event. Paraguayan swimmer Luana Alonso was reportedly kicked out of the Olympic Village for what was described as inappropriate behavior. According to early reports, this included wearing distracting clothing and visiting Disneyland and luxury businesses during the Games.

Despite the insistence on the case from her superiors, Luana Alonso has denied any allegations that this ban ever happened. In a story she posted on Instagram, she shut down the claims and urged people to stop spreading them around the internet. She later shared that she left voluntarily.
"I just wanted to make it clear that I was never removed or expelled from anywhere, stop spreading false information. I don't want to give any statement but I'm not going to let lies affect me either."

Though who made the decision is unclear, it is certain Luana Alonso did spend much of her off time away from her team. Hopefully, if the rumors are not true, the 20-year-old swimmer does not suffer the consequences of being painted in such a negative light.
