The Toronto Maple Leafs and GM Brad Treliving have made a surprising move by trading the 23rd overall pick to the Anaheim Ducks.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired picks 31 and 58 in exchange for pick 23 in the draft from the Anaheim Ducks.
GM Brad Treliving is no stranger to big trades, making several in his time as general manager as the Calgary Flames, and has gone off the board with picks in his time in Toronto, selecting Easton Cowan in the first round last year.
