The Panthers and Rangers are locked in a tight 2-2 battle in the ECF, and now things appear to be getting personal between Matthew Tkachuk and Chris Kreider.

On Tuesday night, the Panthers and Rangers once again went to overtime, marking the third straight game, but this time, it was Sam Reinhart and the home team that ended the night on a positive note.
This game didn't lack excitement at all, and now, two of the teams top stars appear to be going at it. After the game, Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk addressed an intriguing situation that happened during the game, revealing that Chris Kreider attempted to launch his mouthguard into the stands, all while taking a shot at the Rangers star.
Tkachuk said he was able to get his mouthguard back after Kreider tried to toss it last night (it didn't clear the glass).

«I told him it was the best play he made all game,» Tkachuk quipped.
With Matt Rempe on the opposing side, any shots the Panthers take could be responded too by the Rangers with plenty of physicality, but for now it's safe to say this is a battle that could continue over the next three games for these two teams.
