Some Boston Bruins fans called out the clear referee bias against Brad Marchand that was seen in last night's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

While the Leafs did what most people thought they wouldn't be able to do by avoiding elimination for the second straight game and forcing a seventh clash against the Bruins, it is clear that Toronto had an unfair advantage: the referees' bias.

With Brad Marchand skating in the opposite team, it was clear that we would see the Bruins' captain trying to shake things up and get in the head of his opponents. However, the referees are all here for it and they don't plan to fall for it.

On a few occasions last night, the Leafs seemed to have the refs on their side, but it reached a whole new level when Brad Marchand was pushed by Max Domi, right beside the referee, and no penalty was called.

This generated a lof of comments on social media:

Later in the game, Leafs' Pontus Holmberg landed a dirty hit on the Bruins' rookie defenseman Mason Lohrei, who collided dangerously with the boards. No penalty was called on the play.

Check out the hit in the video below:

The Leafs had a little help from the referees and fans hope to see some unbiased officiating in game 7.
