St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington has a short temper, there's no question about that. Back in February, after being pulled in a game against San Jose, Binnington would make his way down the ice shoving and making offers at three or four members of the Sharks before leaving. Monday night, he was at it again, this time with members of the Vegas Golden Knights.

Things were going fairly well for Binnington and the Blues until the third period, in which the Golden Knights scored four times to win the game 5-1. On a powerplay, William Karlsson of Vegas scored a goal in close to put his team up 4-1 with a little over five minutes left. That's when Binnington clearly began to get frustrated. While Karlsson and some of his teammates were celebrating the goal, Binnington would skate over to them and make a check swing with his stick. You can see it in the video below. I'm not sure if Binnington was actually considering hitting someone and thought better of it, or if he was simply faking from the beginning. Either way, it caused a stir among fans on social media, with many referring to Binnington as a "punk."

If you recall, Ron Hextall of the Philadelphia Flyers took a big swing, hitting the Edmonton Oilers' Kent Nilsson across the legs in June of 1987. Hextall received an eight-game suspension for that one. I'm guessing a similar incident today would get a much longer sentence.
