This is a disaster in Toronto, and the fans responded briskly with loud boos to end the second period at Scotiabank Arena.
As this occurred, the Core 4 fought on the bench, and Mitch Marner threw his glove in anger.
The Toronto Maple Leafs will need to make changes quickly, as another first-round exit would be a horrible feat for the team.
