As if enough Ottawa Senators hadn't had enough bad luck with goaltending injuries already this season, general manager Pierre Dorion told reporters Friday morning that Joey Daccord will be «out for a while,» and «most likely the season.»

This is terrible news for Daccord, who was just recently able to pick up his first NHL win. The 24-year-old was injured in Wednesday night's game versus the Vancouver Canucks with what the team is calling a lower-body injury. It certainly didn't look good at the time, as Daccord had to be helped off the ice by training staff and teammates.

With this news, the Senators are now missing Matt Murray, who is day to day with an upper-body injury, as well as Marcus Hogberg who is on the injured reserve with a lower-body injury, and of course now Daccord. There is a chance that Murray could be ready to return for their next game on Monday night versus the Calgary Flames.
