One thing about hockey players, most seem to be more than willing to sacrifice their bodies and their health to help their team. Noel Acciari of the Florida Panthers left it all on the ice Thursday night with his team attempting to kill a 5-on-3 penalty situation against the Nashville Predators.

Acciari would first block a big slapshot by defenceman Mattias Ekholm. You can see him limping as he gets back up on his skates, but never leaves the play. He would then block another big slapper from Ekholm and appeared to be in even more pain. He would get back up again and block yet another big blast, this time from Eeli Tolvanen. You have to give it to Acciari here, he has no quit whatsoever. The Panthers would go on to lose 2-1 to Nashville, but are still right near the top of the NHL standings with a record of 19-6-4. It's plays like this that a top team needs to remain where they are.
