Alexander Radulov of the Dallas Stars has found himself in a bit of hot water in his home country of Russia. According to a report by Sport.24.ru, Radulov was not paying rent on an apartment he has had on Moscow and has been ordered by a court to pay it immediately.

The report states Radulov got the apartment when he was still playing for CSKA Moscow of the KHL in 2015. He stopped paying rent near the end of 2019, and the building's management company decided to sue him. He's been ordered to pay 285,000 Russian Rubles, or the equivalent of roughly $3850.35 USD.

This likely doesn't seem like much money for Radulov, whose estimated NHL earning are north of $35 million. However, it was reported back in December of 2020 that Radulov had allegedly lost more than $20 million USD to a bank in Russia that was operating without a license. A lawsuit has been filed on Radulov's behalf, but no word on when it might be going to court. According to his lawyer, the bank kept accepting deposits of Radulov's NHL salary despite the fact that it had lost its licence, and the money has since disappeared.
