According to EW, those returning for the reunion episode include Elden Henson as Fulton, Matt Doherty as Averman, Vinny La Russo as Adam Banks, Marguerite Moreau as Connie, Garret Henson as Guy, and Justin Wong as Kenny Wu.
"It starts with a fun encounter Coach Bombay has with Fulton — they have an interesting run-in on the street reminiscent of ways they used to meet each other back in the early days," creator Steven Brill tells EW. "This chance meeting between Bombay and Fulton leads to a bigger story."
Apparently, the reunion doesn't get off to a good start. Fulton invites Bombay to a pizza parlour with other members of the team where he finds out there's a Mighty Ducks reunion gala coming up. Bombay discovers he wasn't invited because "he doesn't represent the best of what the Ducks stand for now; they've become this ultra-competitive, sort of new bad guys."
There are also several details on what each of the old faces has been doing with their lives in the 25 years since their last movie. We didn't want to spoil too much, but if you're interested in those details, you can get them all here.
Also, not available for the reunion episode were Joshua Jackson's Charlie and Russ "Knuckle Puck" Tyler, who was played by Kenan Thompson. Both were busy with other things when this episode was being made. Unfortunately, there was no mention at all of Shaun Weiss who played Greg Goldberg. Weiss had gone through issues with drugs and crime, but had been noted to be completely sober as of last September.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers will premiere on Disney+ March 26th.
