The bad news just never seems to end for the Buffalo Sabres. Mired in a terrible season where their coach just got fired in the midst of a 12 game losing streak, now comes word that the team has had to cancel practice today after a member of their staff had to enter COVID-19 protocol.

The Sabres are set to take on the Boston Bruins tonight. So far, there's no word on a possible postponement for that game. However, it a recent update, the Bruins have announced they will not be taking part in a pre-game skate at KeyBank Center in Buffalo as one of their own players has been placed in COVID protocol.

Buffalo recently played the New Jersey Devils, which is interesting considering both teams had to shut down play in February after an outbreak of COVID-19 following a game between the two. Let's hope this one gets under control before impacting anyone else.
