The Boston Bruins have a long history in the NHL as an Original Six team, and now Brad Marchand has revealed which rival he sees as their top rival in 2024.

While most people see the historic rivalry between the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens as one of the top rivalries in the league, their captain may see it differently. With the Canadiens struggling in recent years, the Maple Leafs have stepped in as a rival for the Bruins, and captain Brad Marchand believes they are now the teams top rival.

#NHLBruins winger Brad Marchand was asked about the rivalry with #LeafsForever and said he thinks it has surpassed the one with #GoHabsGo.

He also admitted that the Leafs were his favorite team growing up. Not surprisingly, he said Darcy Tucker and Doug Gilmour were his favs.

With the two teams being full of stars such as Marchand, David Pastrnak, Auston Matthews and so many others, every time they meet it is incredibly intriguing. Now, the two teams will meet in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and with Ryan Reaves looking to make his mark physically, it's safe to say that this will be one of the most intense and exciting series in the playoffs.
