It looks like a suspension is coming for Dante Fabbro of the Nashville Predators. Fabbro delivered a nasty elbow to the head of Carolina's Brock McGinn in the second period of Tuesday night's game. Fabbro was given just a two-minute penalty for the elbowing on the play.

McGinn left the game but would return in the third as the Hurricanes beat the Preds 3-2. There was plenty of debate on this one as many felt the penalty should have been a major and wondered why the referees decided on a minor even after conferring and reviewing the play. Fabbro appears to have no previous suspension history, which will likely factor in to the amount of games he gets from Player Safety. He has played just 94 games in the NHL in his career.
