After winning last year's Stanley Cup, the Golden Knights have had difficulty staying afloat with the top-performing teams. After last night's loss to Calgary, the Vegas head coach had some choice words about the team's performance.

Flames Make Comeback Victory Against The Knights

Last night, the Golden Knights had an opportunity to play the Flames. After being down 1-0 at the start of the third period, Calgary was able to make a comeback victory, taking down Vegas in a final score of 4-1.

This seemed to be a breakthrough for the Candian team, who had struggled in the last handful of games. The star of the team that night, Blake Coleman, made two goals during the game and shared his thoughts about the team's gameplay afterward.

"We've had some good look-in-the-mirror meetings here in the last 24 hours and I thought everybody, to a man, responded really well."

Vegas Head Coach Slams His Team's Performance

While the Flames were excited about beating the recent champion team, Vegas head coach Bruce Cassidy shared his thoughts on his team's performance, urging them to get their heads in the game.

"I'd like to see them have some urgency and realize it's not automatic that we're going to have a chance to repeat. We're not playing well enough right now to assure that."

With the Golden Knights, currently 13th in the league, having lost to a team in the bottom half, it is hard to argue with Cassidy that the team needs to focus if they want any chance at success on the road to the playoffs.
