On Tuesday, former New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist posted a video on his twitter account of himself back on the ice in full gear and practicing after undergoing heart surgery roughly 50 days ago. While it was huge step in his recover, and potential return to NHL action down the road, Lundqvist is in no rush to make any decision on his playing future.

"Going to the rink this week has been very rewarding. My health is obviously my No.1 priority. It will be months before I can make any decisions regarding my future after more tests/convos with Doctors."

It was what he said next that makes it seem like he's hoping to return.

"The one thing I do know with 100% certainty is that I still love the game," said Lundqvist.

Lundqvist underwent heart surgery in January for an aortic root replacement, as well as an aortic root and ascending aortic replacement.

According to the Washington Post, Lundqvist will be assessed by doctors at the end of March, and a statement regarding his health will be released in early April.
