Josh Ho-Sang is an interesting figure in the hockey world. He has been in headlines quite a lot throughout his career, despite playing in just 53 career NHL games. Today he made headlines for a shocking reason.

Ho-Sang Kicks Off Career As Rap Artist

The 28-year-old former forward released his first rap album today titled "Same." The LP contains 18 tracks with a wide assortment of odd names including; Curious George Goes To College, Walking On Sun, and Papi For MVP. The Album is available on Spotify.

The project is just under 50 minutes long, making it a lengthy project by modern standards. He brings back classic beats and instrumentation choices that might remind listeners of famous tracks from the early 00's such as Estelle and Kanye West's American Boy.

Ho-Sang last played in the NHL during the 2018-19 season where he appeared in 10 games for the Islanders. He last played pro hockey in the 2022-23 season where he appeared in a single game for Salavat Yulaev of the KHL, recording an assist.
