The Toronto Maple Leafs injury bug just seemingly won't go away, and now Head Coach Sheldon Keefe has given a horrible update on star forward Mitch Marner.

Mitch Marner to miss the Maple Leafs next game

After sustaining an injury last Thursday against the Boston Bruins, Head Coach Sheldon Keefe has revealed that the 26-year old star will miss their next game against the Philadelphia Flyers.
Sheldon Keefe says Mitch Marner remains day-to-day and unlikely to play on Thursday.

Jake McCabe was out for maintenance today.
With the playoffs less than two months away, this may be good for maintenance on Marner's body, as a week off to recover could be the best thing for him, but there may be major concerns about his health going forward.
The star forward has been fantastic again in 2023-24, tallying 76 points in 62 games played this season, but is listed as day-to-day going forward, so the Leafs and their fans will be hoping that by the Saturday matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes that he's good to go.
