The Ottawa Senators have announced sad news about one of their promising young forwards: Josh Norris.

Norris' career is marked by multiple injuries, which limited him to 183 games in five seasons with the Senators.
Now, things took another bad turn for him.

Josh Norris has undergone shoulder surgery and won't be playing for the rest of the season.
Head coach Jacques Martin made the following statement:
Jacques Martin says that Josh Norris is out for the season after getting shoulder surgery last week.

"On the positive side for methere's enough time for him to be able to start at training camp (next season). At least it gives him some time to rehabilitate properly."
Once again this season, the Senators collapsed despite big hopes for a breakout season. With Norris healthy for the start of the next season, they'll surely try to finally reach the level they aspire to.
