It is no secret that Jordan Kyrou is having one of his worst seasons since becoming a full-time NHL player. It also happens to be the first year of his monster eight-year $65-million contract. Additionally, the first two years are the only two without some form of no trade clause.

Jordan Kyrou could reportedly be on the move out of St. Louis

On Monday afternoon Jeremy Rutherford, the St. Louis Blues' beat writer, reported some pretty shocking news:
Wow @jprutherford said on the radio this morning that he thinks there's a 50/60% chance Jordan Kyrou is traded before his NTC kicks in at July 1st 2025. WHAT? #stlblues
The Blues could be looking to move Kyrou as he does not appear to be himself this season. His goal scoring, point production, shots, and overall play are all down this season. All of the Blues' players play this season likely lead to the dismissal of head coach Craig Berube, and Kyrou could arguably have been the leading player.

Kyrou's production has been lack lustre this season

The last two seasons before Kyrou signed his eight-year deal, he had 75 and 73 points respectively. He also scored 27 and then 37 goals, and many expected him to clear the 40 goal plateau this year but as of now he is projected to score just 64 points and 27 goals. That is surely not the total St. Louis Blues management expected from him this season.
