The NHL has announced that the start of Thursday night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Montreal Canadiens has been delayed by one hour. Earlier today, Edmonton's Jesse Puljujärvi entered the league's COVID-19 protocol, meaning he either tested positive for COVID-19 or came in close contact with someone who has. The league states the game will now start at 8 PM ET in order to allow for the completion and analysis of Oilers' test results in advance of the game.

So far, no games in Canada have been postponed due to COVID-19. More than 40 have been pushed back in the U.S. and several teams have entered into temporary shutdowns in order to allow players to recover and to flatten the curve.
