The Carolina Hurricanes and Chicago Blackhawks were predicted to have a run-of-the-mill regular-season hockey game. By the end of the night, it became anything but and had elements of a fierce rivalry.

Bedard Fights Back After Cheap Shot From Hurricanes Goalie

Connor Bedard is far and away the best player on the Chicago Blackhawks. Since this is the case the Carolina Hurricanes did everything in their power to try and shut him down. In doing so things got heated between the two sides.

After this altercation with goaltender Spencer Martin Bedard went into the locker room steaming in anger. This led to an angry Bedard wanting his revenge on the Hurricanes.

After scoring his highlight reel-looking goal Bedard stared down Martin and made sure everyone knew it. Sadly the goal would be called back but this would only further motivate Bedard to bury a goal.

After scoring on the powerplay Bedard wouldn't pull out a wild celebration but instead just enjoyed the moment with his teammates. Despite the fireworks in the third period the Blackhawks would go on to lose once again.
