The Calgary Flames now have official confirmation that Noah Hanifin wants out, and now his team are reportedly revealing where he would like to play long-term.

Noah Hanifin wants the Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning have been a team linked to Hanifin since the loss of Mikheil Sergachev, and now, Hanifin has revealed that the interest is certainly mutual.

Seravalli: I think the Hanifin camp has expressed to the Flames that he has interest in signing in Tampa eventually.

Whether or not that means the team will trade him to Tampa Bay is yet unclear, but for teams looking to acquire him as a long-term asset, this may certainly hurt his value.

Where will Hanifin end up?

On top of Tampa Bay, Hanifin is reportedly drawing interest from Vegas, New York, Dallas and other teams, and as one of, if not the top asset available at the trade deadline, his value could have a huge impact on the next few weeks.

In 55 games this year, the 27-year old has tallied 9 goals and 30 points, and with experience as well as a bright future ahead, he's no doubt going to be very valuable for whichever team lands him, and right now that may be the Tampa Bay Lightning.
